"Mod Bot" the first

This was my very first Flash Animation I've created. I've never used Adobe Flash before. To be honest, I wasn't even thinking of using it at all, until a visit to Puerto Rico that's when everything changed. I brought with me the "Facebook Hacking" footage, ready to be edited hoping to do something with it. I didn't realized I didn't have a computer strong enough to edit 720p video nor I have my programs such as Adobe Premiere with me. All i had was my old laptop (very low specs). I couldn't just not do anything, i had to do something, be productive. That's when my brother installed the only program that my laptop could run at least decent "Adobe Flash CS3". I had no knowledge of the program whats so ever, the only one I had been using was Adobe After Effects (i know all adobe programs work sort of the same). My brother showed me the basics and i took it from there and let me say that was the funnest learning experience i ever had. The only think i founded difficult was understanding the timeline, since its way different than After Effects, this one had small rectangles, sorta looked like piano keys to me at first. After a dozen mistakes, including adding a "Motion Tween"to a none-Symbol and not using a tablet, i got the hang of it. In every scene of the video i was testing something different, using Tween, frame by frame, panning and zooming etc, that would explain how it Looks.

"Luigi's Grocery Shopping Maze" a Remake

This video was actually a remake of another video I made back in 2011. I wanted to bring it back but this time making sure i added the things I didn't knew back then. The scene where Luigi walks passed the customers, they all looked like cardboard cutouts, I fixed that by adding motion to all of them, I went one by one and animated every characters individually doing a different action (that made my computer run very slow). Then I made sure this time to uploaded at 720p which it made it look greater then the first one. But for the most part, it stayed the same, the basic idea of him Luigi getting grocery shopping is still there, just this time is less boring. I also made some other subtle changes, fixed the audio, added an ester egg and of course i added the ending that I personally have to say, one of my favorites yet!.

The "Facebook Hacking" Story

It all started with an idea i had, back in October 2011. I wanted to make a basic narrative story animation using short/cute looking characters. I wanted to narrate my work experience using characters to visually show what happened in a sort of funny way. Since it was going to be just a narrative video, i decided to go with the paper background and the rest of the things in grey giving the impression it was drawn. The only things in color are the characters and some main objects (In the Video was the Magazine). I made it that way so it stands out from the background. Once finished working with the look of the animation i started writing the script. After working on the script for some time, i really didn't like the way it was turning out and decided to pull the plug on the whole idea. Even though i stopped the animation i still wanted to use the characters. One day i logged in Facebook, and the first comments where about "Getting hacked" (don't know why, but that's what i saw). That's when it hit me, i can make a animation based out of the experience of getting the Facebook hacked. The Idea was great at the time, so i quickly started working on the animation. It was great, it looked great considering the fact that it was all done in After Effects. The last thing i did was the Script, sadly that is what this video lacks on, still that doesn't make it a bad video. But all in all, i think for being my first animation done in Adobe After Effects, it was entertaining i sure did had fun making it.
